Dr Afeefa Makkattu completed her Fellowship at esthetic dentistry from Al Azhar dental college(Kerala university of science), after completing her Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery from University of Health Sciences.
She had worked a few years in an established private dental practice in kerala before joining AL ITTIHAD MEDICAL CENTER
Dr. Afeefa firmly believes that the success of paediatric dental treatment highly depends on a healthy patient-doctor relationship and works on making each Paediatric visit highly interactive and informative. She constantly updates himself by attending conferences with the latest emerging trends. He has presented various papers and posters at various conferences.
Dr. Afeefa’s expertise includes complete oral diagnosis , oral hygiene therapy for healthy gums and stains removal,Preventive dentistry,Tooth colored restorations, non-surgical extractions, full mouth rehabilitation , all ceramic zirconia crowns and bridges , Direct and indirect veneers, Teeth whitening , Root canal treatment, All ceramic zirconia crowns and bridges.
She is fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam
