Dr. Akmal Ayub Khan is a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner who believes in treating every patient with care, respect, and attention to their unique needs. After completing his MBBS at Kannur Medical College, Kerala, India in 2019, Dr. Akmal immediately stepped into the healthcare frontline as a COVID Medical Officer with the National Health Mission, where he helped guide and care for patients during the challenging times of the pandemic.
In the years that followed, Dr. Akmal worked in a clinic in Kerala, where he had the privilege of treating patients of all ages— from newborns to the elderly. His goal has always been to offer thoughtful, patient-centered care, ensuring that every person who walks through his door feels heard and valued.
In late 2023, Dr. Akmal moved to the UAE and spent a year working in Umm Al Quwain, where he gained further experience in an international healthcare setting. Now, he’s excited to be part of the team at Al Ittihad Medical Center in Abu Dhabi, where he continues his journey of providing quality care to his patients.
