With over 42 years of clinical experience in the UAE, Dr. Viquar Azeem is renowned as one of the most distinguished family practitioners in the field of general medicine. His extensive expertise and compassionate approach have made him a respected figure among both patients and peers, establishing him as one of the first senior doctors in Abu Dhabi.
Fluently conversing in 5 different languages namely English, Arabic, Persian, Hindi & Urdu. Dr. Azeem possesses a unique ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring each individual feels at ease and understood during their medical consultations.
Dr. Azeem’s journey in medicine began when he obtained his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College in 1976. He further honed his skills by completing senior houseman-ship in Medicine at Bowring Hospital in Bangalore. In 1979, he acquired his UAE medical licensure in Abu Dhabi and embarked on an exceptional career by establishing his own practice.
In that very year, Dr. Azeem founded Al Ittihad Medical Centre, a medical establishment that stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication and hard work within the community.
